Exhibition

Christopher exhibited his work throughout Britain with many shows held in London, the south of England and Wales, his paintings seen in both mixed and one man shows. His first one man show took place in 1957 at Arthur Jeffress (Pictures) of London, ran by the prolific art collector Arthur Jeffress and influential art critic Robert Melville. In the sixties Christopher had many one man shows at the Portal Gallery and later the New Grafton Gallery. He also exhibited his work at the Royal Academy (see below), the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), and the Royal Cambrian Academy (RCA). In addition to private sales and commissions, many public institutions, such as The National Museum of Wales, The Ashmolean Museum of Art & Archaeology, Reading Museum, and the West Berkshire Museum purchased his work and can still be seen in their collections. (public collections). Below is listed by decade many of his exhibitions. Click on the decade to reveal a list of some of the exhibitions which took place in that decade.
